To permit rendering of impartial and unbiased judgment essential to the proper conduct of the Compliance Program, the Compliance Specialist shall be independent of the activities they review. In performing the compliance function, the Compliance Specialist will not have any direct responsibility for, or authority over, any of the activities reviewed. Therefore, the Compliance Program review and evaluation process does not in any way relieve other persons in the university of the responsibilities assigned to them. | ||
