Essential Job Functions: 1. Leads the planning and execution of alumni relations, engagement, and giving according to annual metrics and goals.

2. Monitors and analyzes program data to assess performance against goals; provide reports on a quarterly basis.

3. Represents the college at all alumni related and corporate partner related meetings and events.

4. Conducts 75 personal visits with alumni for the purpose of cultivation and solicitation.

5. Improves overall alumni engagement.

6. Provides regular communications with Alumni, through alumni newsletter and specialized communication with donors.

7. Organizes regular programs, events, seminars and experiences for alumni.

8. Maintains high level of industry knowledge and research. Must stay current with innovative ways to meet AEI goals and college specific programming.

9. Maintains updated lists and communication with the college's Distinguished Alumni and alumni donors.

10. Provides leadership and direction for volunteer engagement.

11. Develops and distributes printed materials, encourages the use of social media and other platforms including the Alumni App, NSUConnect, and the NSU Alumni website.

12. Creates appeals to solicit alumni giving and meets annual fundraising goals. Be knowledgeable in various ways to give.

13. Performs other duties as assigned.
Marginal Job Functions: 1. Maintains posting of events on the calendar.

2. Work cooperatively and collaboratively with faculty and staff of NSU.

3. Represent University Advancement and NSU at activities as needed.

4. Create office systems to support processes and procedures to fulfill job requirements.

5. Have general knowledge of marketing principles and methods.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge:
1. English Language - General knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
2. Communications and Media - General knowledge of media production, visual, verbal, and interactive communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and persuade via written, oral, and visual media.
3. Digital Media - General knowledge of digital media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and persuade via digital, web, and social media.
4. Marketing - General knowledge of principles and methods for describing and promoting programs and services in order to achieve desired outcomes.
5. Customer and Personal Service - General knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of user satisfaction.
6. General knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
7. Basic knowledge of standard Adobe Suite.

Physical Requirements:

4. Travel - Must be able to travel on a daily and/or overnight basis (national and internationally).
