Essential Job Functions: 1. Oversight and assurance of robust activities using social media, Ron and Kathy Assaf College of Nursing website, NSU technology options for applicants, students, faculty and administrators.

2. Oversees the coordination with the University admissions departments and associate/assistant deans and program directors to promote consistent and timely admissions processes for all students.

3. Oversees the development and implementation of student outreach strategies for each program in conjunction with associate/assistant deans, and program directors.

4. Coordinates recruitment activities for the college.

5. Develops a yearly schedule of vendor opportunities including budget and personnel projections.

6. Collaborates to ensure the coordination, implementation, and analysis of and recruitment and outreach plans for all nursing programs.

7. Collaborates with the Associate Deans on the process by which the university undergraduate catalog, HPD catalog, Student Handbook, and brochures are updated annually.

8. Oversees vital information available to the community through visits and presentations.

9. Plans, directs, and provides administrative oversight for recruitment and outreach activities by using institutional data and best practices information to develop a recruitment plan with measurable goals and objectives.

10. Develops and monitors student eligibility marketing materials.

11. Provides guidance and direction to program administration, faculty and staff involved in the recruitment and marketing efforts for the department.

12. Provides critical liaison with appropriate offices, department and external agencies involved in nursing education.

13. Prepares appropriate reports as requested by the Dean.

14. Provides comprehensive updates and progress reports of recruitment/admission activities at faculty and staff meetings.

15. Serves as an ACON representative on various department committees, as well as University committees, including instructional effectiveness as assigned by the ACON Dean.

16. Performs other duties as assigned.
Marginal Job Functions: 1. Obtains and submits to the dean and program directors a marketing plan for each program fall and winter.

2. Attends training seminars and meetings as pertinent to the Ron and Kathy Assaf College of Nursing.

3. Travels to and participates in professional job-related meetings, associates, conferences, and workshops.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Knowledge of each NSU Nursing program as well as knowledge of nursing and nursing careers.

2. Solid knowledge of the processes and policies of the University.

3. Must possess good analytical, basic math and statistical skills.

4. Outstanding interpersonal skills are required to interact with potential applicants.

5. Considerable tact and diplomacy must be used when discussing incumbents' status in the University.

6. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

7. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

8. Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

9. Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.

10. Solid knowledge MS office to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

11. Ability to travel and work flexible hours in the evenings and weekends.

12. Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of duties and responsibilities.

Major (if required): Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Required Experience: Minimum five (5) years experience in Marketing or Student Recruitment activities.
