Job Title: Admission Services Lead - 995429

Essential Job Functions: 1. Leads Admission Services team, while assisting the supervisor in overseeing the completion of application files to ensure efficiency of AMS processes.

2. Makes outbound calls to admissions applicants regarding their completion of admissions documents to ensure applicants provide required documents in a timely manner for academic units to review for admissions purposes.

3. Updates the admissions services system to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information to the academic programs for admissions purposes.

4. Responds to inquiries from applicants and NSU academic programs regarding the admissions process to ensure customer satisfaction and required documents are submitted by applicants in a timely manner for academic units to review for admissions purposes.

5. Follows admissions regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with NSU and agency policies and procedures.

6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Marginal Job Functions: 1. Travels to other campus meeting sites for instructional purposes.

2. Assists senior management regarding special projects or assignments.

15. Working knowledge of Microsoft Window-based environment, using various software packages (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS:

1. Ability to communicate effectively with others.

2. Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and supervisory staff at all levels.

3. May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties.

4. May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to pens, pencils and computer keyboards.
Job Requirements:  
Required Certifications/Licensures:  
Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Major (if required):  
Required Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent and three (3) years of work experience in computer application or data entry related responsibilities.

--OR--

Associates Degree and two (2) years of work experience in computer applications or data entry related responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Associate Degree.

2. Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in computer applications or data entry related responsibilities.

3. Previous experience in an academic institution.

4. Knowledge in enrollment process services.

5. Bilingual preferred, specifically Spanish.

6. Knowledge of computer software, including Banner.
