Essential Job Functions: 1. Assists in managing operations to ensure continuous improvement of student services that increase engagement & retention.
2. Acts as liaison between students, faculty, and college and university departments.
3. Contacts prospective students to present information and/or explain available programs and services. Communicates with prospects about admission requirements, program offerings, curriculum, and/or basic financial aid information by telephone or email.
4. Provides assistance in completing application and enrollment documents.
5. Coordinates activities required for enrollment, such as CPR training, inoculations, and/or fingerprinting.
6. Provides assistance to faculty and staff in duties such as facilitating or conducting orientation programs, and scheduling events.
7. Coordinates or participates in promotional activities, including conferences, educational fairs, career days, campus tours, or special events to present programs to prospective students.
8. Assists with the planning and execution of marketing and community outreach events.
9. Facilitates preliminary and qualifying exams.
10. Tracks and monitors student academic progress for assigned program(s) or cohorts.
11. Maintains accurate and complete student records as required by laws, policies, and administrative regulations.
12. Counsels students regarding educational issues, such as course and program selection, class scheduling and registration. May conduct exit interviews for student withdrawals.
13. Networks with pre-health clubs, societies, and other institutions to increase awareness of the value of the allied health professions and the College of Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine.
14. Manages the recruitment and admissions budget, research, and analysis of recruitment trends, opportunities and activities, and provides leadership for the professional development of staff as individual and team contributors.
15. Provides reports on recruitment activities and results.
16. Advises student organizations and assists with their efforts to arrange special events, such as fundraisers, receptions, professional networking opportunities, and/or symposiums.
17. Provides students with information on topics, such as college degree programs, admission requirements, and financial aid opportunities.
18. Assists in facilitating student grievance and discipline processes.
19. Considers, resolves, and responds to student petitions.
20. Maintains or monitors departmental and/or program websites.
21. Coordinates the production and dissemination of university publications, such as program brochures.
22. Develops and produces marketing materials promoting student events such as orientation, graduation, other ceremonies, and/or conferences.
23. Generates reports to ensure timely information is available for management use.
24. Attends meetings, educational conferences, and training workshops and serves on committees.
25. Participates in college and university committee activities as assigned.
26. Assists in the recruitment, selection, training, and supervision of student employees, graduate assistants, and/or volunteers.
27. Provides feedback and recommendations to management regarding recruiting strategies, customer service, communications, and/or recruitment programs.
28. Identifies and achieves goals and targets for increasing and sustaining enrollment through targeted outreach campaigns, one-on-one follow-up with prospective students, developing deeper relationships with high schools, community organizations and local employers.
29. Provides classroom instruction for one course per semester in the KPCOM undergraduate programs or the NSU UNIV course.
30. Participates in the respective UG meetings.
31. Mentors and advises undergraduate students.
32. Completes special projects as assigned.
33. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Abilities:

Physical Requirements:
1. Speech Recognition - Must be able to identify and understand the speech of another person.

3. Near Vision - Must be able to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
4. May be required to work nights or weekends.
5. Travel - Must be able to travel on a daily and/or overnight basis.
6. May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties.
7. May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to pens, pencils, and computer keyboards.
