Essential Job Functions: 1. Directs the athletic department's video content and production, including features for NSUSharks.com and creation of dynamic highlight videos for NSU social media accounts. Organizes and edits new and existing video footage to assist with the department's objective of creating and communicating marketing efforts centered around student-athletes.

2. Organizes and develops the athletic department's graphic design projects for printed materials including game-day programs, marketing collateral, brochures, special promotional materials, as well as all web-specific graphic promotional materials for NSUSharks.com and the Sharks' corresponding social media accounts.

3. Produces and schedules all live audio/video streaming that will be inclusive of free and subscription models. This includes pre-production planning, all in-game production to include team and player graphics, stats as well as commercial and promotional inventory and post-production wrap-up.

4. Manages and produces video content and production activities for the video scoreboard at the arena to enhance the game environment by using NewTek 3-Play replay and Tricaster video production systems that includes game and promotional content and pre-production graphics and animation.

5. Produces and directs the annual athletic banquet sport highlight video to include student-athlete accomplishments and video highlights obtained throughout each sport season.

6. Develops, analyzes, and implements digital content strategies for social media platforms to promote the accomplishments of NSU athletic teams and student-athletes.

7. Instructs and directs volunteers and student workers, mentoring the creative team to produce exceptional in-house content through photography, video production and graphic design. Coordinates the resources to meet the needs of the area in both maintaining a leading-edge equipment strategy and also scheduling, mentoring, and recruiting new creative-minded students in the department.

8. Develops effective relationships with the University's Division of Public Relations and Marketing Communications to collaborate on special video projects, as necessary.

9. Assists in the day-to-day supervision of NSUSharks.com which will include content, graphic generation, and specific page revisions.

10. Works under the direction of the Manager of Communications to ensure that a consistent brand identity is maintained based on the objectives of the department.

11. Works with marketing and sponsorship sales staff to create and implement digital inventory for new and current corporate partners. This will help to fulfill revenue generating goals in these two areas.

12. Implements annual updates to public exhibits in UC Arena, including NSU Athletics Hall of Fame display, Club Room trophy encasement, championships banners, as well as athletic services building display.

13. Individual may have some minor sport coverage responsibility.

14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Major (if required):  
Required Experience: One (1) to two (2) years of prior video production skills and knowledge of editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro or similar) required.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Master's preferred in communications, marketing, sport management or related fields.

2. Familiar with video processes and equipment for streaming events live and basic knowledge of CMS is preferred.

3. Advanced knowledge with creative software, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe After Effects.
