Job Title: Administrative Assistant for Testing Services - TEMPORARY

Essential Job Functions: 1. Provide a high level of customer service in assisting students with scheduling appointments.
2. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the services provided by the Tutoring and Testing Center in order to respond to inquiries appropriately and accurately in a timely manner.
3. Enters data and generates reports from NSU specific software systems to ensure accurate processing and record-keeping.
4. Coordinates daily management of graduate testing operations to include test scheduling, faculty and student contact as needed, and proctoring of exams.
5. Ensures academic integrity with secure test handling and consistently maintains a secure testing environment by enforcing established procedures.
6. Maintains accurate and secure records in compliance with the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
7. Perform general administrative duties, such as completing work orders, submitting OIIT service requests, and covering the office phones and centralized email.
Marginal Job Functions: 1. Assists with other administrative functions.
2. Assists with special projects as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Proficient knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; data entry skills; Internet research abilities
2. Knowledge of office practices and procedures (e.g. filing, answering telephones, and supply/equipment ordering).
3. Ability to enter and verify information with accuracy.
4. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
5. Ability to maintain confidential information.
6. Strong administrative and organizational skills
7. Proactive, punctual, and reliable.
8. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
9. Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and supervisory staff at all levels.

Required Experience: Previous administrative experience.
