Essential Job Functions: 1. Reviews and enters data into NSU specific software systems to change and update student records to ensure data integrity.

2. Runs quality assurance reports and resolves data integrity issues to ensure accurate student records.

3. Retrieves and processes data loads and creates Banner records to ensure data accuracy.

4. Troubleshoots system errors, communicates with appropriate personnel, and implements feasible solutions to ensure problems are resolved in a timely manner.

5. Assists with the testing of the technical information systems in regards to implementation, upgrades, and/or patches to ensure systems functionality.

6. Generate and analyze degree audit reports to apply degree applicable transfer courses to student record.

7. Performs other duties as assigned.
Marginal Job Functions: 1. Assists senior management with special project assignments.

2. Travels to off-campus sites to attend meetings, conferences, and seminars.

11. Ability to work in a Microsoft Window-based environment using various software packages (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).

12. Ability to maintain confidential information.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS:

1. Ability to communicate effectively with others.

2. Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and supervisory staff at all levels.

3. May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties.

4. May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to pens, pencils and computer keyboards.

Required Certifications/Licensures:  
Required Education: Associate's Degree or 60 College credits
Major (if required):  
Required Experience: 1. Two (2) years of experience with data systems.

2. Two (2) years of office support experience with microcomputers.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. One (1) year working experience in an institution of higher education.

2. Three (3) years of work experience with data systems.

3. One (1) year experience working with Banner and other NSU software systems.
