Essential Job Functions: 1. Plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates work activities of subordinates and staff, including hiring, coaching, evaluating, and terminating, all in accordance with University policies and procedures.
2. Provides general oversite for campus operations, coordinating activities between departments and communicating as necessary to students, staff, and faculty.
3. Identifies, develops, or evaluates communication strategies, based on knowledge of university objectives, market characteristics, and cost factors.
4. Formulates, directs, or coordinates public relations and marketing communications activities or policies to promote university programs, working with other experts or stakeholders as needed.
5. Plans and directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
6. Reviews and approves budget expenditures.
7. Attends meetings, educational conferences, and training workshops and serves on committees.
8. Develops and maintains a network of relationships that will serve to increase enrollment, such as alumni, students, the business community, professional organizations, and student groups.
9. Gathers information on competitors and advises management on competitive activities; assists in identifying potential new markets; assists in enrollment forecasting.
10. Works with management on copy for program marketing, brochures, web content, schedules, and surveys.
11. Completes special projects as assigned.
12. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

1. Administration and Management - General knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, budgeting, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and/or coordination of people and resources.

4. Travel - Must be able to travel on a daily and/or overnight basis.

Required Experience: 1. Eight (8) or more years of student advising experience in an academic environment.
2. Demonstrated success in meeting enrollment targets.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree with three (3) or more years of student advising experience
