Position TitleExhibitions and Curatorial Project Assistant

Primary Purpose:

  • Provide training to new hires
  • Act as liaison to museum collection’s software provider Axiell

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in transition of information and contacts to new hires
  • Communicate with software provider Axiell to optimize publication and functioning of online Museum Collection catalog

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of managing exhibitions, museum protocol and university administration.
  • Expertise in collections management databases.
  • Experience of registering objects.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adaptable to deadlines.

Required Education:  Master’s in museum studies or similar field

Required Experience:  A minimum of 5 years of exhibition management experience.
