Essential Job Functions: 1. Applies advanced technical and production digital skill sets and expertise along with proven writing and design skills to provide thoughtful, effective content and/or edits to the College’s administrative/internal web pages, ecomms, social media channels, digital presentations, internal print and event collateral, and other communications products to allow College leaders, faculty, recruiters and professional staff to reach and engage their internal and affiliated audiences (current College students and faculty/staff, as well as prospective students in the CRM, alumni, MOU partners, donors, etc.)
2. Performs basic web editing within a CMS, internal page production and content updates or additions for the College’s administrative and internal web pages, collaborating with a wide range of colleagues, managers, faculty and staff, and following NSU protocols set by PR/Marketing and OIIT for web, social and SEO content that advances the institutional brand and creative strategies.
3. Consults with College-based subject matter experts and colleagues to obtain information on requested digital content edits or production requests for the College’s internal web pages, mass emails, digital presentation/event materials, and/or social media content.
4. Writes relevant, useful, and conversational content, ensuring voice and messaging are consistent with the university's brand and writing standards.
5. Liaises and works proactively with the College’s academic professors and leaders to connect with their students, alumni, faculty and staff in order to develop relevant and timely stories and to connect those stories to the overall marketing strategy and current global events.
6. Writes, edits, and develops email content within a strategic ecomm plan that coincides with the College’s enrollment and retention goals.
7. Discusses with the subject matter expert(s) the product, themes and methods, and any content changes that should be made on the designated digital channel (College-based web, ecomm, social media, digital presentation materials, etc.).
8. Implements online customer service processes to ensure positive and consistent user experiences for current students, prospective students in the College’s graduate recruitment funnel, faculty/staff, alumni and other primarily internal users who connect with the College through the web, mass emails, social media platforms, webinars, digital events, etc.
9. Participates in the development or implementation of efficient, effective and data-driven administrative web and content management strategies to ensure that College-based web content is accurate, timely, relevant and compelling for students, faculty, staff, alumni and other primarily internal web users and visitors.
10. Coordinates and helps to create content calendars for College-based social media channels and provides content and digital production support for social posts as needed , working with NSU’s PR/Marketing team and guidelines to follow NSU social media best practices for strategic use of social media including monthly performance tracking and report cards.
11. Collaborates with NSU PR/Marketing and OIIT web and social media experts to integrate and complement best practices for SEO, web and social media communications success and efficiencies.
12. Identifies appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reports key metrics from digital campaigns.
13. Combines secondary data sources with keyword research to more accurately profile and satisfy user intent.
14. Assists in setting up or optimizing analytics tools for tracking visitors' and users’ behaviors.
15. Collects and analyzes Web, email and social media performance metrics, such as visits, time on site, page views per visit, transaction volume and revenue, traffic mix, engagement rates, conversion rates, etc.
16. Contacts prospective students to present information and/or explain available programs and services. Communicates with prospects about program offerings, admission requirements, curriculum, and/or basic financial aid information.
17. Coordinates or participates in promotional and recruitment activities including conferences, educational fairs, career days, open houses, special events to present programs to prospective students.
18. Provides feedback and recommendations to management regarding recruiting strategies, communication, and recruitment programs.
19. Conducts regular assessments of College-based web, email and social media activities and programs using Google Analytics and other Key Performance Measures (KPIs) to help demonstrate user patterns and results/impact for program managers.
20. Manages tracking and reporting of search-related activities and provides analyses to College administrators.
21. Improves search-related activities through application of SEO best practices and NSU SEO, web and social media content & production guidelines.
22. Completes special projects as assigned.
23. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Required Experience: 1. Two (2) to four (4) years of relevant web/digital media experience or recruitment/outreach experience.
2. Diverse writing portfolio that demonstrates multiple communication channels.
3. CRM experience.
4. CMS web platform experience.
5. Ecomm curation and execution experience.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Bilingual (English & Spanish).
2. Google analytics and SEO knowledge.
