Essential Job Functions: 1. Serves as the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) Verified Course Sequence (VCS) Coordinator for all Applied Behavior Analysis programs offered through the FCE-SCJ and acts as single point of contact regarding to ABAI, BACB, and the Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP).

2. Oversees and develops a quality ABA and CLS curriculum to ensures the curriculum meets appropriate certification/licensure standards. Serves as lead faculty in curriculum development and improvement, including establishment and implementation of Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes (ASLO). Utilizes data collected to make enhancements to the curriculum and maintains and revises courses and syllabi accordingly.

3. Seeks and maintains accreditation status for ABA and CLS programs. Oversees information and any impending changes in certification/licensure and credentialing practices affecting established and future academic programs. Ensures these remain in compliance with credentialing agency requirements and advises faculty, students and administration accordingly.

4. Serves as faculty contact person with Continuing Education (CE) Broker and/or other CE managers to maintain center's CE provider status. Maintains application/application renewals, develops and coordinates CE workshops, and other continuing education activities for the center's academic programs.

5. Coordinates and facilitates relevant training opportunities for faculty, staff and students and develops and maintains relevant policies and procedures, training handbooks, and publications.

6. Coordinates clinical training activities and culminating experience for all students in the academic degree and non-degree programs and its associated program concentrations/emphasis, certificate programs and other programs as developed. Serves as liaison between students, faculty, and current and potential preceptors to facilitate experiential training placement, continued community engagement and quality training experiences.

7. Coordinates recruitment of new clinical experience sites and preceptors, and secures appropriate affiliation agreements and/or contracts for clinical training experiences. Provides site visits and evaluations of sites to ensure effectiveness of clinical training. Manages ongoing quality improvement processes.

8. Coordinates logistics for student participation in training activities, including coordinating orientation sessions and assigning training opportunities for students. Provides clinical supervision, advisement, and mentoring to students participating in fieldwork seeking to fulfill BACB certification requirements and preparation towards gainful employment.

9. Assists with maintaining compliance with the University academic compliance office and accrediting bodies.

10. Generates reports to ensure timely information is available for management use.

11. Engages in scholarship and community service.

12. Teaches undergraduate and graduate courses as assigned.

13. Attends meetings, educational conferences, and training workshops and serves on committees.

14. Completes special projects as assigned.

15. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Required Education: Doctoral Degree
Major (if required):  
Required Experience: Five (5) years of academic (i.e., curriculum and course development, teaching) and supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Doctoral designation (BCBA-D).

2. Two (2) to five (5) years experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities.

3. Two (2) to four (4) years clinical supervision.
