Primary Purpose:

The Physical Therapy Sports Resident is responsible for meeting all academic, clinical, research and professional responsibilities assigned by the Director of Post-Professional Clinical Advancement and established by the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education.

 

Job Category: Exempt

Hiring Range:  Commensurate with experience

Pay Basis:  Annually

Subject to Grant Funding? No  

Essential Job Functions: 

1. Complies with all Residency program training requirements established by the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education.
2. Demonstrates professional competency and behavior in conducting assigned patient care responsibilities.
3. Attends required meetings.
4. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Job Requirements: 

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 

Required Certifications/Licensures: Licensed in the State of Florida.

Required Education: Doctoral Degree

Major (if required: 

Required Experience: 1. Requires a DPT Degree.
2. Graduate of an CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy program.
