Essential Job Functions: | 1. Assists in management of social media platforms (such as Linked In, Facebook, and Instagram), webpage, and other online communities by creating and posting content. Edits or rewrites existing copy as necessary to maintain fresh content on shared and owned channels. 2. Assists in identifying, developing, and evaluating communication strategies based on knowledge of university objectives and market characteristics. 3. Assists with the coordination and presentation of and/or participates in strategic enrollment marketing or promotional activities and events. 4. Performs basic web editing within a CMS, to write and help organize and coordinate the production of web content additions and updates for administrative and internal web pages. 5. Stays current on new technologies, best practices, and trends in digital storytelling. Keeps track of social media trends and behaviors to ensure engaging and valuable content. 6. Contributes to improving internal and external communications by helping develop and implement an effective communications strategy as it relates to increasing the visibility of the FL Blue program. 7. Assists in creating marketing materials and creating graphics for use in multiple mediums including print and digital advertising. This includes the use of Canva and Constant Contact. 8. Provides clerical support such as word processing, filing, maintaining databases, photocopying, scanning, creating labels, and mailing correspondence. 9. Completes special projects as assigned. 10. Performs other duties as assigned or required. |

Active Listening – Proficient skills in giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. 5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills – Proficient skills in talking to others to convey information effectively and respectfully. 6. Strong computer software and social media skills – Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Canvas LMS, Canva, Adobe Suite, and various social media outlets. ABILITIES: 1.
