Primary Purpose:

Provides bag, cart and range services to members and guests. Ensures smooth pace of place on the golf course.

Hiring Range: 

Pay Basis:  Hourly

Subject to Grant Funding?   

Essential Job Functions: 

1. Brings carts from cart shelter to cart staging area outside the Golf Shop.

2. Removes bags from bag storage room and loads onto carts.

3. Transports range balls to each end of the range and fills appropriate containers.

4. Places baskets of balls at evenly spaced intervals on range.

5. Operates tractor and ball picker on range to retrieve balls.

6. Washes all range balls daily.

7. Removes bags from carts and returns bags to assigned rack in bag storage room or to valet.

8. Returns carts to shelter; removes towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink cans, etc., from carts and saves reusable items; washes cart with hose, dries it off, parks cart in shelter and connects charger cable.

9. Observes pace of play.

10. Requests slower playing groups to speed up pace, if appropriate.

11. Escorts unauthorized people from the course.

12. Ensures that divots and ball marks are repaired.

13. Reports all infractions to Golf Shop.

14. Ensures that sand traps are raked.

15. Carries and provides clean towels and water for ball washers.

16. Replaces towels and replenishes water on ball washers.

17. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisors/managers.

Job Requirements: 

Required Certifications/Licensures: 

Preferred Qualifications:  Customer service experience.
