Primary Purpose:

Supervises and performs the daily golf course maintenance.

Job Category: Exempt

Hiring Range: 

Pay Basis:  Annually

Subject to Grant Funding?   

Essential Job Functions: 

1. Oversees and performs on-going course maintenance activities.

2. Completes minor repairs on equipment.

3. Operates and maintains equipment.

4. Maintains equipment inventory.

5. Trains personnel in on-going course maintenance activities.

6. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisors/managers.

Job Requirements: 

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Must have prior experience as a Maintenance Foreman on a golf course.

2. Must be familiar with all equipment, chemicals, responsibilities, etc.

3. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop or bend for duration of shift [at least (8) hours].

Required Certifications/Licensures: 

Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Major (if required: 

Required Experience: Minimum of one to two (1-2) years of experience as a foreman on a golf course.
