Primary Purpose:
Responsible for developing research objectives, projects, and proposals, undertake research and evaluate outcomes. Plan, coordinate and implement research programs/protocols in accordance with the University and College strategic plan, policy and procedures and funder requirements. Publish and otherwise disseminate results. *Fellow position is for a two-year period only.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Conducts clinical, health outcomes-related and/or basic science research in collaboration with supervisor/director and other College of Pharmacy faculty.
2. Appropriately use research tools (example statistical software) to conduct cutting edge research.
3. Writes, develops and submit research proposals as a lead and/or co-investigator for funding from internal and external funding entities.
4. Writes and submits peer-reviewed papers to peer reviewed journals for publication.
5. Presents research findings to relevant stakeholders including but not limited to inter-and intra-health professionals, the pharmaceutical industry, and the academy.
6. Submits and presents original research findings at national and international pharmacy-related meetings.
7. Participates in professional, institutional/college, and clinical committee meetings as appropriate.
8. Serves the college of pharmacy through student advising, mentoring and other related activities,
9. Serves the pharmacy profession through organizational/associational contributions and professional presentations and conference proceedings.
10. Serves the college of pharmacy through services to the profession and our educational partners.
11. Completes other projects as required.
12. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Required Certifications/Licensures: 1. Successful completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 pharmacy residency or equivalent experience
2. Must have a Pharm.D. degree from ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
3. Must be eligible for Pharm.D. licensure in Florida
