Primary Purpose:

Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing healthcare related projects aimed at improving patient care, efficiency, and organizational outcomes, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain project efficiency, communication, and quality assurance.

Essential Job Functions: 

1. Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
2. Coordinate and track project activities, ensuring tasks are completed according to deadlines.
3. Support Executive professionals and Program Manager in maintaining project schedules, budgets, and scopes.
4. Assist Program Manager with liaising with healthcare staff, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication regarding project goals and progress.
5. Assist with preparation and distribution of project updates, reports, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
6. Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including meeting action items, status reports, and project logs.
7. Assist with monitoring project risks and issues, documenting and escalating them as necessary to Program Manager.
8. Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices in all project activities.
9. Assist with compliance checks and audits, ensuring projects meet quality and regulatory requirements.
10. Identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during the project lifecycle.
11. Collaborate with team members to propose and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
12. Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliverables to evaluate project success.
13. Contribute to project post-mortem reviews to identify areas for improvement in future projects.

Job Requirements: 

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge:
1. Basic understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
2. Familiarity with project management processes and tools.
3. English Language - Thorough knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

9.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Physical Requirements and Working Environment:
1. Speech Recognition - Must be able to identify and understand the speech of another person.
2. Speech Clarity - Must be able to speak clearly so others can understand you.
3. Near Vision - Must be able to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
4. Travel - Must be able to travel on a daily and/or overnight basis.
5. May be required to work nights or weekends.
6. May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties.
7. May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to pens, pencils, and computer keyboards.

Required Certifications/Licensures: 

Required Education: Associate’s degree

Major (if required: Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Required Experience: Minimum of three (3) to four (4) years of experience in project management within a healthcare setting. Internships may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications: 

1. Certification in Project Management (CAPM, PMP)
2. Familiarity with Canva and healthcare IT systems.
3. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
