Primary Purpose:

This temporary role will involve coordinating a variety of administrative and operational tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently while contributing to the overall success of the team.

Essential Job Functions: 

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Alan B Levan NSU Broward Center of Innovation by coordinating activities to ensure that operational processes are running smoothly.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth communication and timely execution of projects.
• Help coordinate logistical arrangements, such as office supplies, shipments, and vendor interactions to ensure that operational needs are met efficiently.
• Create Agendas, participate in staff team meetings, and take notes and assist in the implementation of action items.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of operational initiatives.

Job Requirements: 

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in an administrative or operations role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with project management software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Adaptable, flexible, and able to manage change effectively.
