Essential Job Functions: | Responsible for preparing and producing food items, a la carte, buffets, banquets, etc. to specified requirement set by the Club. 1. Prepares food items according to the Chef’s specifications and recipes to ensure orders are timely. 2. Evaluates cooking methods, times and temperature to ensure 3. Sets up and prepares station area to ensure line is ready for orders at least 15 minutes prior to service time. 4. Prepares food according to Chef’s specifications and recipes to ensure appealing and accurate presentation. 5. Restocks food items throughout the shift to ensure availability at all times. 6. Exhibits knowledge of operating kitchen equipment to ensure equipment is used correctly and safely. 7. Uses product labeling system to label and date, using F.I.F.O method for all raw and prepped food products to ensure only the freshest products are used. 8. Ensures that assigned work areas are equipment are clean and sanitary. 9. Performs related duties as assigned. |
Marginal Job Functions: | 1. Maintains a neat and professional appearance and observe personal cleanliness rules at all times. 2. Assists with the cleaning, sanitation and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers and storage areas. 3. Follows and enforces the hygiene and safety standard set by the Public Health Dept. |
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: | 1. Must be friendly, personable and reliable, professional communication are required. 2. Must have problem solving abilities, be self motivated and organized. 3. Must exhibit commitment to Food and Beverage and quality service. 4. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop or bend for a duration of an (8) hour shift. 5. Must have training in culinary arts from an accredited institution. |
