Essential Job Functions: 1. Assist faculty and course coordinator(s) with course management:
A. Assure students have obtained information on the proper use of the Learning Management System (LMS).
B. Assist faculty and course coordinator(s) with maintaining organized storage of course documents, materials and assets within the LMS. Activities include, but are not limited to: importing course modules from prior versions of the course, setting up course gradebook, ensure course navigation is correct, re-name course sections to reflect campus assignment, creating course discussion boards, etc.
C. Prompt/facilitate discussion and engagement during active learning activities as directed by faculty/course coordinator(s).
D. Provide educational material as determined by faculty and course coordinator(s)

2. Act as a liaison between the students and the respective faculty and course coordinator(s).
A. Maintain communication with regards to course content.
B. Relay comments, questions or concerns to the faculty and course coordinator(s) on behalf of the students.
C. Participate in course-related meetings held by faculty and course coordinator(s).
D. Assure proper student conduct (e.g. dress code, professional behavior, etc.) is maintained while class is in session.
E. Ensure student problems are addressed.

3. Assist faculty and course coordinator(s) with assessment-related responsibilities:
A. Proctor course examinations.
B. Maintain integrity and security before, during, and following each exam.
C. In consultation with course coordinator(s) and faculty, enter exam items into electronic testing platform or LMS into appropriate section.
D. Proofread assessment items for spelling, grammar, and item quality.
E. Ensure assessments adhere to examination blueprint, avoid overlap of content across different guest faculty and items are written at the appropriate level of Bloom’s taxonomy according to lecture and course objective(s).
F. Meet individually with students to review graded exams.

4. Provides service to the College of Pharmacy:
A. Participate in assigned committees and complete work as assigned by committee chair(s).
B. Provide mentorship and guidance to sanctioned student organizations.
C. Supervise students at health fairs and patient education events as needed.
D. Be familiar with the Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum, including the sequence and availability of courses.

5. Provide instruction in core or laboratory courses as needed. Additional duties involved in laboratory instruction may include, but is not limited to:
A. Ensuring lab supplies are ordered in a timely manner.
B. Coordinating adjunct faculty needs.
C. Grading student performance.
D. Participating in course meetings as arranged by faculty and course coordinator(s).

6. Completes special projects as assigned.

7. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Marginal Job Functions: 1. Act as a representative of Nova Southeastern University, College of Pharmacy.

2. Actively participate in promotional programs for the College as needed.

3. Attend and participate in conferences held by College Administrators as required.

4. Ensure compliance with University policies and procedures.

5. Participate in the instruction of specialized laboratories under the guidance of a course coordinator.

3. Travel - Must be able to travel to conferences or other NSU campuses as required
4. May be required to work nights or weekends.

6. May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to pens, pencils, mobile devices, and computer keyboards.
