Essential Job Functions: 1. Teaching graduate course(s) in the classroom or online, as assigned.

2. Select teaching and evaluation strategies appropriate to the students and setting.

3. Present ideas clearly.

4. Create a climate that is conducive to learning.

5. Provide and maintain a reliable schedule of office hours for student advising, tutoring, remediation and consultation.

6. Participate in department and college-wide committees and meetings.

7. Engage in curriculum development related to current and new courses.

8. Maintain a personal professional development plan, which may include a record of scholarly activity such as research and/or other creative activities, to assure growth and currency within the academic field.

9. Display behavior consistent with professional ethics.

10. Communicates between the academic institution and affiliated clinical education sites.

11. Clinical Education Program Planning, Implementation, and Assessment.

12. Clinical Site Development.

13. Clinical Faculty Development.
Marginal Job Functions:  
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, and others on a regular basis.

2. Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment.
Job Requirements:  
Required Certifications/Licensures: Maintains active membership within the American Physical Therapy Association.
Required Education: Terminal Degree (Highest degree in field of study)
Major (if required):  
Required Experience: Five (5) years of related experience and/or training including research.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Prior experience as an instructor in a distance education environment.

2. Operational knowledge of the Internet and web-related technologies.
