Essential Job Functions: 1. Supervises, and coordinates work activities of subordinates and staff, including hiring, coaching, evaluating, and terminating.

2. Acts as a subject matter expert for assigned system(s).

3. Creates reports as requested by the Board of Trustees, Vice President of University Advancement, Executive Director of Advancement Services, Deans, Senior Administration and others; coordinates the creation of new reports as needed.

4. Develops and runs reports in Access from the Banner Advancement module.

5. Inputs journal entries for department.

6. Oversees Nova Singers budget and deposits.

7. Inputs journal entries for department.

8. Creates and tracks all service manager tickets in relation to telecom.

9. Maintains emergency contact list for department.

10. Serves as backup Human Resources contact.

11. Maintains department website including the training of new staff.

12. Serves as Public Safety and Facilities liaison.

13. Works with other areas such as Enrollment and Student Services and Alumni Affairs to ensure that alumni records are properly updated in Banner.

14. Generates lists, and reports from the system to support development, special events, public affairs, publications, and alumni affairs.

15. Gathers data pertaining to customer needs, and uses the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements.

16. Consults with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.

17. Develops, documents and revises system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.

18. Reviews workflow charts to understand tasks computer will perform, such as updating records.

19. Modifies existing databases and database management systems or directs programmers and analysts to make changes.

20. Tests programs or databases, corrects errors, and makes necessary modifications.

21. Directs daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.

22. Oversees the daily performance of assigned computer system(s).

23. Meets with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.

24. Specifies users and user access levels for each segment of database.

25. Operates spreadsheet programs and other types of software to load and manipulate data and to produce reports.

26. Retrieves, separates and sorts program output as needed, and sends data to specified users.

27. Develops and implements processes and reports to audit data quality, ensure accuracy, and increase productivity.

28. Answers telephone calls to assist computer users encountering problems.

29. Develops training materials and procedures, and trains users in the proper use of hardware or software.

30. Maintains employee data integrity and confidentiality.

31. Maintains data integrity and confidentiality.

32. Completes special projects as assigned.

33. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
