Essential Job Functions: 1. Applies proven writing and business communications skills to provide thoughtful, effective content, messaging, and production for Undergraduate Admissions ecomm, social media content calendar, slide presentations, internal print and event materials, etc., to allow Undergraduate Admissions leaders, faculty, recruiters and professional staff to reach and engage their internal and affiliated audiences (prospective college students and parents in the CRM, as well as faculty/staff).

2. Identifies main prospect groups and audiences, determines the best way to communicate and engage audiences to elicit desired outcomes. Develops and implements communication plans.

3. Performs basic web editing within a CMS, to write and help organize and coordinate the production of web content additions and updates for Undergraduate Admissions administrative and internal web pages, collaborating with a wide range of colleagues, managers, faculty and staff, and following NSU protocols set by PR/Marketing and OIIT for web, social and SEO content that advances the institutional brand and creative strategies.

4. Consults with subject matter experts and colleagues to obtain information on requested digital content edits or production requests for Undergraduate Admissions internal web pages, mass emails, digital presentation/event materials, and/or social media content.

5. Writes relevant, useful, and conversational content, ensuring voice and messaging are consistent with the university's brand and writing standards.

6. Produces basic, persuasive business or promotional materials such as well-crafted slide or Zoom presentations using NSU templates and brand guidelines, appealing flyers or e-invites to draw prospective students or other audiences to events, etc.

7. Works with NSU’s PR/Marketing team to help manage projects with design and production of more complex or market-facing communications materials.

8. Liaises and works proactively with academic leaders to connect with their students, alumni, faculty and staff in order to develop relevant and timely stories and to connect those stories to the overall marketing strategy and current global events.

9. Writes, edits, and develops email content within a strategic ecomm plan that coincides with Undergraduate Admissions enrollment and retention goals.

10. Discusses with the subject matter expert(s) the product, themes and methods, and any content changes that should be made on the designated internal communications channel (Undergraduate Admissions web, ecomm, social media, digital presentation materials, etc.).

11. Implements online and in-person customer service processes to ensure positive and consistent user experiences for current students, prospective students in the Undergraduate recruitment funnel, faculty/staff, alumni and other primarily internal users who connect with Undergraduate Admissions through web, mass emails, social media platforms, webinars, digital events, in-person events, among others.

12. Participates in the development or implementation of efficient, effective and data-driven administrative communications, web and content management strategies to ensure that Undergraduate Admissions based web content is accurate, timely, relevant and compelling for students, faculty, staff, alumni and other primarily internal web users and visitors.

13. Collaborates with NSU PR/Marketing and OIIT web and social media experts to integrate and complement best practices for SEO, web and social media communications success and efficiencies.

14. Identifies appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reports key metrics from communications campaigns.

15. Reviews trends, consumer surveys, and other data regarding marketing enrollment to determine the best way to promote programs and services.

16. Assists in setting up or optimizing analytics tools for tracking visitors' and users’ behaviors.

17. Establishes or maintains cooperative relationships with representatives of the community, students, employees, alumni, and/or public interest groups.

18. Develops and distributes internal communications to students, faculty, and/or staff.

19. Participates in college and university activities as assigned.

20. Attends community events, meetings, or conferences to promote organizational goals.

21. Completes special projects as assigned.

22. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

1. Writing and English Language - General knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the proper use and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
2. Communications through Digital Media - General knowledge of media production, visual, verbal, and interactive communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and persuade via written, oral, and visual media. Proficient skills in use of Zoom, MS Office suite and is competent posting content on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, You Tube, etc.

Required Experience: 1. Up to two (2) years of relevant work-related experience in communications and enrollment marketing.

2. Basic graphic content experience.

3. Basic CRM (Customer Relationship Management) experience.

4. Basic CMS web platform experience.

5. Ecomm curation and execution experience.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Bilingual (English & Spanish)
2. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HTML/CSS, and/or
copywriting; copyediting; AP style.
