Subject to Grant Funding?: No  
Essential Job Functions: 1. Teach core psychology assessment courses in the doctoral clinical programs or others as assigned. The teaching load is contingent on research productivity.
2. Maintain an active research program, including developing peer-reviewed
publications.
3. Mentor doctoral students in research.
4. Contribute to diversity and inclusivity in research, teaching, and service.
5. Create a climate conducive to learning.
6. Participate in department wide activities such as faculty meetings, clinical competency examinations, chairing dissertations/directed studies, etc. as assigned.
7. Serve on and contribute to appropriate NSU and College committees, and professional
associations.
8. Maintain a professional development plan to assure growth and currency within the academic field.
9. Other duties as assigned by the Department Chair and/or Dean.
Marginal Job Functions: 1. Develop innovative ideas, applications, and/or programs.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Experience with external grant submission.
Job Requirements:  
Required Certifications/Licensures: Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Florida
Required Education: Doctoral Degree
Major (if required): Clinical, counseling, or school psychology or related field
Required Experience: 1. Record of external funding to support a research program (or evidence of potential to secure external funding).
2. A record of scholarly publications.
3. College and/or university level teaching experience.


Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience in teaching graduate level courses.
