Essential Job Functions: | 1. Conducts American Heart Association Courses including CPR, First-Aid, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Life Support in classroom setting for both individuals and groups. 2. Trains participants on effective responses to emergency scenarios and delivering essential life support. 3. Executes correct procedures for administering life support procedures/techniques according to AHA standards. 4. Implements diverse teaching strategies to captivate participants and optimize learning outcomes. 5. Provides constructive feedback and assessments to monitor participant advancement and ensure understanding. 6. Maintains a secure and structured classroom setting for optimal learning experiences. |

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: | 1. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with diverse students. 2. Proficiency in the use of audio-visual equipment 3. Establishment of a supportive and conducive learning environment. 4. Exemplification of professional conduct as a role model. 5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. |
Job Requirements: | 1. The type of shift varies based on the requirements of teaching assignments. Weekend/evening teaching may be required. 2. May require travel to off-site locations to accommodate customer/client training needs. |
Required Certifications/Licensures: | 1. Current AHA Instructor certification. 2. Current AHA Provider certification. |
Required Education: | High School Diploma or Equivalent |

Required Experience: | Demonstrated recent expertise and familiarity with life support modalities. |
Preferred Qualifications: | Classroom teaching experience delivering life support courses. |
