Essential Job Functions: | 1. Establishes and enforces administration policies and rules governing student behavior. 2. Facilitates student grievance and discipline processes. 3. Reviews student misconduct reports requiring disciplinary action, and counsel’s students regarding such reports. 4. Reviews registration statistics and consults with faculty officials to develop registration policies. 5. Maintains or monitors departmental and/or program websites. 6. Plans and conducts orientation programs, white coat ceremony, and group conferences to promote the adjustment of individuals to new life experiences, such as starting college. 7. Plans and promotes social, cultural and recreational activities for students. 8. Works with Student Ambassadors, Peer Mentors and other student leader groups with the Assistant Dean. 9. Responsible for the onboarding of all DO students to include the tracking of immunizations, background checks and other mandatory requirements. 10. Participates in college and university committee activities as assigned. 11. Maintains accurate and complete student records as required by laws, policies, and administrative regulations. 12. Completes special projects as assigned. 13. Performs other duties as assigned or required. |
