Essential Job Functions: 1. Interface and engage with the administration and faculty of all residency programs that are affiliated with the KPCOM.
2. Travel to affiliated hospitals to engage administration and faculty with regard to the interests of the residents.
3. Develop an intimate understanding of the accreditation standards for GME within the ACGME accreditation system.
4. Assist in the development of curriculum for the clinical training of residents.
5. Assist in the identification of new training sites for the advancement of clinical and graduate medical education for the KPCOM.
6. Assist the affiliated residency programs in the management of their accreditation with the AOA, ACGME, and their specialty colleges.
7. Participate in the site inspections of affiliated ACGME residency programs as requested. Network with specialty colleges, the AOA and the ACGME on behalf of the KPCOM.
8.Serve as a medical education consultant at clinical sites.
9. Represent the interests of the KPCOM as it pertains to clinical education and GME at the local, state, and national level.
10. Secure the accreditation of the ACGME and design corrective action plans, evidence of implementation and other mandated documentation per accreditation standards.
11. Spearhead communication and marketing initiatives to increase NSU KPCOM’s connection and visibility with our members and the clinical community.
12. Responsible for the KPCOM GME operating and residency program budgets, working directly with the Director of Grants/Budget.
13. Serve as oversight for the KPCOM component of the dual DO/DPM degree and work with representatives of the Dental College to design, implement and assure deliverance of the joint curriculum and serve as the Ombudsman and primary point of contact from the KPCOM to all students in the DO/DPM Program.
14. Work with financial services and ESS to assure proper registration and billing for students in the DO/DPM Program and serve on the joint Student Progress Committee for all academic and disciplinary matters pertaining to all students in the dual program.
15. Work with all DO/DPM and DO/JD students to assure they are advised of all academic responsibilities.
16. Other duties as assigned.

2. Very good communication skills.

3. Must be willing to travel for the Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine both in state and out of state if necessary.
