Essential Job Functions: 1. Operates printing presses, folders, binding equipment, drill press, stapling machines, copy machines, sign making machines, amongst others.

2. Processes requisitions for copy, print, and binding services to ensure quality of customer service.

3. Performs routine maintenance of equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning of equipment.

4. Performs basic data entry to generate price quotes for copy jobs, track metrics, and compile monthly billings.

5. Operates the cash register including cash, check and credit card sales.

6. Records all money transactions in the Copy Center.

7. Keeps physical and electronic records of requests to ensure appropriate tracking of workload.

8. Picks up, prioritizes, processes, packages, and delivers copy and print jobs to customers.

9. Monitors printshop inventory; advises printshop management when supplies are low and prepares purchase/order requisitions for purchase of materials; performs scheduled stock inventory.

10. Troubleshoots all equipment including clearing copier paper jams, changing ink cartridges and toner, and occasionally communicating technical issues to copier technical support.

11. Provides front office coverage by greeting visitors and directing them to appropriate persons and/or answering phones, routing calls, and taking messages to ensure quality customer service is provided to visitors.

12. Coordinates with other departments as needed on projects.

13. Completes other projects as assigned.

14. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge:
1. Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), automated office equipment, and office practices and procedures (e.g. filing, answering telephones, receptionist duties, and supply/equipment ordering).
2. Customer and Personal Service - Working knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
3. Knowledge of high-speed duplicating/copy equipment.
4. Knowledge of duplicating and bindery equipment.
5. Ability to learn and recognize designs that conform to university brand rules and those that include violations that need to be addressed before printing.

Physical Requirements and Working Environment:
1. Speech recognition - must be able to identify and understand the speech of another person.

3. Near vision - must be able to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
4. May be required to work nights or weekends.
5. May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties.
6. May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to pens, pencils, and computer keyboards.
7. Must be able to exert maximum muscle force to lift and hold a minimum of 50 pounds.
Job Requirements: Valid Florida Driver's License.
Required Certifications/Licensures: Valid Florida Driver's License.
Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Major (if required):  
Required Experience: One (1) year of clerical/related experience in an office environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Copy Center experience with duplicating and bindery equipment.
