Water Safety Instructor - TEMPORARY
Primary Purpose: Swimming Instructors are members of the Division of Student Affairs and assist in furthering the mission of the Office of Recreation and Wellness. This position is responsible for teaching a fun and educational swim session for members of the NSU community to include students, faculty, staff, alumni, and children. The Treasurer also identifies and evaluates financial or other risks in each of these areas , develops and implements mitigating strategies. This includes studying existing and new legislation or industry regulations and advising management on any needed actions.

We are seeking a motivated graduate student to assist with evaluating the Recidivism Reduction Pilot Program (RRPP), run by the Broward County Public Defender's Office. The program provides case management and sentencing support services to public defender clients primarily charged with third-degree felonies. The program aims to reduce recidivism by addressing participants' needs through community resources while advocating for sentencing alternatives that enhance their reintegration into the community. Our research and evaluation project aims to assess the effectiveness of the RRPP in reducing recidivism through a comprehensive evaluation plan, including qualitative and quantitative analysis, data collection, and submission of findings to peer-reviewed journals or presentations at academic conferences
