Primary Purpose:
Provides support to management in functions related to the business/facilities operations of front desk / security, summer camps, conferences, and off-campus housing.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Oversees graduate assistants assigned to front desk operations and security staff for NSU residence halls. Participates in the recruitment, selection, supervision, and training of assigned staff (approximately 100 students).
2. Oversees on campus and off-campus housing functions including marketing, promotion, solicitation, and Off-Campus Housing Fairs.
3. Develops promotional brochures, audiovisual materials, video presentations, and other tools to recruit students for on and off-campus housing.
4. Serves as a resource and referral agent for NSU students residing off campus.
5. Assists in overseeing the check-in, and check-out procedures for over 2,700 residents living on-campus throughout the academic year.
6. Explores new revenue opportunities for the off-campus housing program through sponsorships and participation in the Off Campus Housing Fairs and Off Campus website.
7. Provides support to students seeking short term housing.
8. Coordinates the scheduling and implementation of summer camps and conferences.
9. Provides research and historical data regarding on-campus and off-campus trends.
10. Works closely with NSU graduate admissions, undergraduate admissions, and Human Resource Office to provide marketing and off-campus housing services to students and employees.
11. Maintains and submits monthly and yearly reports on the services being provided.
12. Presents information sessions to prospective students and their parents detailing on-campus and off-campus housing options.
13. Completes project as assigned or required.
14. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Job Requirements:

1. Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as knowledge and understanding of organization structure, workflow, and operating procedures.

3. Clerical - Thorough knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.

Physical Requirements and Working Environment:

Required Certifications/Licensures:
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Major (if required:
Required Experience: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in University Housing or related field.
(Related fields: College Student Affairs, Student/Academic Services, Property/Apartment Management)
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience collaborating with offices across campus.
2. Experience supervising student staff.
3. Experience with student staff training.
