Essential Job Functions:
1. Responds to inquiries and resolves discrepancies involving financial transactions in a timely manner, requiring a general understanding of work-area policies and procedures.
2. Operates computers programmed with finance/accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.
3. Operates 10-key calculators and copy/scan machines to perform calculations and produce documents.
4. Debits, credits, and totals accounts on computer spreadsheets (including proficiency in using pivot tables and v look-up) and databases, using specialized accounting software.
5. Research outstanding items to help reduce the number of old items on reconciliations.
6. Scans and files forms and documents using electronic/manual filing systems to ensure appropriate document retention.
7. Performs general office duties such as filing, answering telephones, scheduling meetings/appointments/events and handling routine correspondence.
8. Contacts customers or employees to obtain or relay account information.
9. Complies with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
10. Constructs entries for processing and scanning for document retention for Treasury.
11. Sorts and distributes Treasury mail and bank statements.
12. Serve as backup for staff accountant miscellaneous reports and mail.
13. Maintains and updates the Treasurer filing system.
14. Prepares and mails out documents.
15. Completes special projects as assigned.
16. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Knowledge:
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including using pivot tables and v look-up.
2. Experience in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word.
3. Clerical - Working knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
4. English Language - Working knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
5. Customer and Personal Service - Working knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of user satisfaction.
