Primary Purpose:

Oversees Museum Admissions counter and assists with all customer service related information and issues.

Temporary employment is of limited duration, and under the terms of NSU's benefits plan and policies, not eligible for company benefits.

Hiring Range:  $14/hr

Pay Basis:  Hourly

Essential Job Functions: 

1. Sells admission tickets for the Museum and Museum Events as well as assists with selling memberships.
2. Provides information on programs, events and general information to visitors and callers in a professional manner.
3. Assists when needed at Museum Store counter.
4. Stocks Museum collateral and other approved marketing information.
5. Provides clerical assistance as needed.
6. Works on any additional duties or assignments designated by supervisor.

Job Requirements: 

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Possess a friendly and engaging personality.
2. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
3. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
4. Computer proficient and basic knowledge of Word and Excel as well as data entry skills.

Required Certifications/Licensures: 

Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Major (if required: 

Required Experience: Minimum of one year customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications: 

1. Previous sales and/or cashiering experience.
2. Bilingual – English/Spanish.
