Essential Job Functions: This position is contingent on the availability and continuation of external-funding and/or contract. As such, any offer of employment may be withdrawn or employment ended in the event the external funding and/or contract ceases or is reduced.

1. Prepares fields, courts, and surroundings as directed to ensure areas are fit for athletic events.
2. Assists with work orders & follow-up with the Physical Plant Department for field preparation as appropriate.
3. Coordinates vehicle maintenance, including detailing, refueling, and repairs to ensure vehicles are in good working order.
4. Records daily usage of mini buses by coaches and follows up with cleanliness and closing of windows. This includes disposing of garbage and notifying coaches of any team members' belongings left in vehicle.
5. Observes, reports and takes immediate action in the prevention and elimination of safety hazards through the gym, grounds, pools, locker rooms and buildings to ensure the athletic facilities are safe for users. This includes a specific weekly safety inspection of locker rooms and fields.
6. Orders, organizes, and maintains inventory and repair of athletic equipment and uniforms to ensure readiness for events.
7. Assists in maintaining and cleaning all athletic fields and courts.
8. Maintains records of Pride Pack fee collection for each sport and disperses merchandise to coaches.
9. Stores, arranges and distributes materials, equipment and supplies.
10. Attends and participates in departmental meetings, planning activities and school related evening and weekend events.
11. Assists in the supervision of students activity in the gym, weight room and athletic areas.
12. Provides direct support and supervision for after school athletic events and games.
13. Stocks and sets up concessions.
14. Assists in completing repairs as directed.
15. Assists in gathering and compiling information for school reports.
16. Assist the sponsorship of extra activities as directed by the Athletic Director and Upper School Director.
17. Assists the Summer Camp personnel with life guarding, safety and transportation duties.
18. Assist with inputting information on the Web Calendar and social media platforms.
19. Alternate hours may be required during sports seasons (examples 8:00 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. or 12:00 pm - 8:15 pm) as directed.
20. Attends staff meetings and serves on committees, as required
21. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Marginal Job Functions:  
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Ability to use various types of equipment and supplies including, but not limited to, hand trucks, ladders, and automotive vehicles.
2. Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
3. Must be able to transport, lift, and/or unpack classroom and athletic materials.
4. Ability to be exposed to short, intermittent and/or prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting in the performance of job duties.
5. Ability to measure, outline, and walk on irregular surfaces to prepare sport fields for usage.
6. Knowledge of sports rules and field dimensions.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
8. Ability to pass the appropriate Child Care Licensing Background Check.
9. Ability to pass the NSU Driver Background check.
10. May be required to pass a random drug test.
