Essential Job Functions: 1. Tracks and assesses the performance and impact of grant initiatives.
2. Analyzes progress and outcomes to ensure alignment with grant objectives.
3. Recommends improvements and adjustments as necessary.
4. Ensures adherence to all legal and organizational policies related to grant management.
5. Prepares and submits detailed reports to funding agencies, including financial statements and narrative progress reports.
6. Maintains and manages accurate records of grant applications, approvals, financial transactions, and correspondence.
7. Develops and oversees a centralized database for grant information.
8. Identifies and outlines the goods or services needed for grant-related projects.
9. Assists the PI in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including creating scopes, identifying needs, and managing vendor interactions.
10. Researches and evaluates qualified vendors, request quotes, and manage vendor relationships.
11. Acts as a primary point of contact between the organization, vendors, and internal procurement department.
12. Organizes and schedules meetings related to grant initiatives.
13. Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.
14. Tracks and manages grant-related deadlines and milestones to ensure timely delivery of project outputs.
15. Develops and maintains project timelines in alignment with grant requirements.
16. Prepares comprehensive grant reports in accordance with agency standards and requirements, including financial summaries, progress updates, and impact evaluations.
17. Monitors grant budgets, tracks expenses, and ensures alignment with grant stipulations.
18. Reconciles financial reports and manages budgetary compliance.
19. Provides training and support to team members on grant management processes and best practices.
20. Facilitates knowledge sharing and capacity building within the organization.
21. Identifies risks associated with grant management and implements mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
22. Stays updated on changes in grant management regulations, funding opportunities, and best practices.
23. Proposes and implements improvements to enhance grant management processes and systems.
24. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Marginal Job Functions:  
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. English Language - General knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
2. Computers and Electronics - General knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
3. Customer and Personal Service - Working knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of user satisfaction.
4. Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
5. Familiarity with grant regulations and funding agency requirements.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
1. Near Vision - Must be able to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

4. Travel - Must be able to travel on a daily and/or overnight basis.
5. May be required to work nights or weekends.

7. May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to pens, pencils, and computer keyboards.

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree
Major (if required): Business administration or a related field.
Required Experience: Up to two (2) years of experience in grant management, compliance, or financial administration.
