Primary Purpose:
Plans, develops, and implements student affairs operations; ensuring that the program fulfills the College's mission, goals, and objectives.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Ensures that student affairs activities meet the College of Health Care Sciences mission, goals, and objectives.
2. Supervises and ensures student records are maintained accurately in cooperation with faculty, Bursar, Registrar, and Financial Aid offices.
3. Ensures Student Organizations and their activities adhere to College policies and procedures.
4. Participates in the decision of awarding scholarships, grants, and awards by serving on the Scholarship Committee and the Awards Committee.
5. Participates in College Committees as assigned by the Dean.
6. Assists Dean and other staff in special projects as required.
7. Advisor for the Student Progress and Disciplinary Committees.
8. Advises and consult with students.
9. Directs and oversees student policy and procedures.
10. Manages maintenance of student records as it applies to student services.
11. Supervises and counsel students regarding the registration process.
12. Manages student academic standing and class ranks, scholarship eligibility, and attrition rates for each program.
13. Liaison between registrar, financial aid, bursar, and the college.
14. Manages all functions of graduation for the Dean's Office.
15. Directs activities with the admissions office such as orientation, Open House and Graduation.
16. Oversees student recruitment in conjunction with the admissions office.
17. Directs events and activities for students.
18. Oversees all student organizations for the College.
19. Approves all flyers and student activities.
20. Supervises all activities conducted by the college student organizations and alumni.
21. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Job Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. The ability to work with minimal supervision and the ability to interpret policies and procedures as necessary.
2. A thorough understanding of the college student handbook and catalog are required.
3. Previous experience working with College of Health Care Sciences students.
4. Computer literacy is required with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Office, including Excel spreadsheets.
5. Demonstrate leadership, administration and resource development ability.
Required Certifications/Licensures:
Required Education: Master's Degree
Major (if required:
Required Experience: 1. Five (5) years of related experience in academia and administration or equivalent.
2. Five (5) years supervisory experience.
3. Track record of program development, review, and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree or actively seeking doctoral degree in appropriate related field.
