Primary Purpose:

Oversees biographical updates and campaign reporting for University Advancement.

 

Job Category: Non-Exempt

Hiring Range: 

Pay Basis:  Hourly

Subject to Grant Funding? No  

Essential Job Functions: 

1.Develops and runs reports in Access from the Banner Advancement module.

2. Accurately input information in the Banner system.

3. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.

3. May perform a single independent task in a specialized area.

4. Maintains employee data integrity and confidentiality.

5. Maintain and process a variety of records involving technical data and terminology unique to the function of the department.

6. Reviews and checks report for accuracy.

7. Completes special projects as assigned.

8. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Job Requirements: Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Excellent technical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

2. Highly knowledgeable in electronic data processing systems, including their acquisition, installation, operation security, and maintenance.

3. Ability to manage, which includes planning, directing, coordinating, and monitoring projects and supervises employees to meet organizational goals.

4. Ability to conceptualize and implement procedures which regulate work processes and organize tasks.

5. Knowledge of and experience with main frame reporting languages and programming in the Microsoft environment.

6. Ability to react quickly and accurately and maintain high level of professional conduct and courtesy.

7. Computer literate with database software programs, including but not limited to MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, etc.

8. Knowledge of finance and accounting operations.

9. Ability to handle sensitive information with high level of confidentiality and trustworthiness.

Required Certifications/Licensures: 

Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Major (if required: 

Required Experience: 1. Up to two (2) years’ experience working in an office setting.
